All About Fermenter Prizes and How It Works

My name is Tim Artz and I started Fermenter Prizes to share my love of food and cooking and to use this platform to help food insecure people in our community. I have been sharing my recipes at Tim’s Food Obsession for ten years. I have been featured, and have published my own work, in newspaper food sections nationally. I have also been featured alongside James Beard award winners and Michelin-starred chefs in two best-selling cookbooks.

Fermenter Prizes is based in Oakton, Virginia, offering fun classes for your group of up to four people. You book the class, and the time slot is all yours. Classes are a mix of hands-on or interactive demonstrations. There will be tasting, plus classes give each participant goodies to take home. The goal is to have fun and to teach you some new things you can use in your own home kitchen. Profits help feed hungry families in our community.

To get started, just browse the list of classes to select the class you’d like. Contact me to set a date for your group to come on over for your class. Price may vary based on your group’s specific needs, but standard cost for each class is $300 for your group of 1-4 people.
