Description
Learn about baking sourdough breads. Class covers the basic science of sourdough baking. You will learn about recipe formulation and ingredients, equipment for baking, dough mixing and proofing, how to shape a loaf, how flavor develops in sourdough, how to bake a loaf, how to maintain your starter culture, and what to do with discard when you feed your culture. Each participant will get bread to take home and some active sourdough culture. Signup is for a single participant. Select qty based on how many are in your group. There will be up to four students in this class. When this class is filled, another will be scheduled for a future date.
